Major That Will Give A Lot Of Good Job Opportunities?
in a junior is high school and I need to pick one pretty soon... here are some I am looking into:
* if it helps to know, I live close to a very big city.
-engineering (I'm really good in math)
-finance(??)
-business(i heard this only is good if you have a lot of connections though?)
-education (most likely for little kids)
-psychology
-law (too hard, good jobs??)
thanks!!!!!!!!
Engineering is the best choice. You are lucky to have such good math skills.
Out of the options I would say engineering for sure because it’s typically only four years of studying and on top of that there is a lot of money and respect in it. Also you said that you were good at math so why not? Within engineering there are a lot of options so you could choose one that best suits your interests
. Good luck in whatever you choose
the obvious choice these days is engineering. If you have what it takes to pass multiple levels of calculus classes which i cannot. And i consider myself intelligent. So if you cannot hack the calculus, accounting is one of the hardest and most rewarding majors in college after engineering. If you cannot hack that, you should go for finance or any general business degee. It all boils down to what interests you. My belief is that ANYONE can complete any degree if they put in enough work. But engineering is the best, accounting second, and after that there are many choices. Take classes in all subjects and make a choice. I have chosen to double major in finance and computer info systems. Just work hard. Eff em all. You are better than them.
Absolutely none! Avoid college, even finding a job as an engineer is rough. Anyway, you’ll be flippin’ burgers no matter how smart you are.
